Bridget is a world expert on Smart Working, strategic property asset management and property performance measurement in the public sector. For over twenty years she has been at the forefront of developing Smart Working principles and best practice for the UK Government.
Bridget works with individuals and teams to help them become more capable and confident in positioning property and workplace within organizational transformation, and in managing culture change to new ways of working. She is the creator of The Changing Work Company’s successful Smart Working Change Leader training programme.
She is an author and creator of seminal publications Working without Walls, Working beyond Walls and the State of the Estate Reports, and guided development of the PAS 3000:2015 Code of Practice on Smart Working and the ‘Look and Feel’ Blueprint for Government Hubs.

Victoria is the Smart Working Manager in the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sports – one of the most diverse and exciting departments in Whitehall. She was part of a very small team who has been responsible for changing not only the DCMS working environment but also introducing exciting new Smart Working practices and training. Their work was recognised by winning the national 2019 Smart Working Workplace award.

An Organisational Development leader of over 20 years, Pamela has spent much of her career working with large, complex organisations facing whole scale change. She has spent the last 10 years working on cultural change and development programmes mostly relating to the Digital and Smart Working agendas from which she has grown her knowledge and expertise. From shaping strategy to delivery Pamela has played a leading role in Staffordshire County Council’s Smart Working approach over the last 3 years which is beginning to demonstrate real business impact and behavioural change.
Enterprise Customer Engineer, Google
Helen Hosein is an Enterprise Customer Engineer at Google. They joined the company in 2017 as a Customer Success Manager before taking over their new role in early 2019. Before joining the Google team Helen worked as an Agile Project Manager for Softwire. Helen received a BA in Computer Science and Dance from Wesleyan University. From there they went on to gain an MBA from the University of Miami. Helen currently resides in London.
Group Chief Executive, Grand Union Housing Group
In a career spanning over 30 years in Social Housing, Aileen Evans has worked in a variety of roles in both Housing Associations and Local Authorities. In July 2017 Aileen was appointed Group Chief Executive of Grand Union Housing Group, having previously been the Group’s Director of Operations.
Aileen has previously worked with the NHS to fund solutions to bed blocking. She is also a founder member of SHOUT, the campaign for Social Housing. Aileen is a qualified coach, Vice President of the Chartered Institute of Housing and Chair of the Governing Body of a local school.
People Programmes Director – Smarter Ways of Working, and Strategic Workforce Planning, HM Revenue & Customs
Adam runs HMRC’s Smarter Ways of Working, and Strategic Workforce Planning Programmes. He is accountable for modernising working practices across HMRC’s 60,000 strong workforce by seizing the opportunities provided by investment in improved technology and workplaces, as well as ensuring HMRC has the workforce it needs to deliver its work. Adam was previously Head of Business Readiness and Benefits Realisation in HMRC’s estates transformation programme, one of the largest infrastructure change programmes in Europe and a key enabler for Smarter Working. In addition to his experience in the leadership of projects and programmes, Adam began his civil service career as an analyst and is a qualified member of the Government Social Research profession. He previously ran the private office of the HMRC CEO and Permanent Secretary and, prior to joining the civil service, worked in the local government and academic sectors.

He specialises in solutions for Contact Centres, Unified Communications, SaaS and Acoustics in the workplace; providing best practice advice and technical guidance. Chris has over 12 years of experience in the Public Sector and has worked for Poly (previously Plantronics) for the past 21 years. His wealth of experience has helped many organisations revolutionise the way they work and communicate.

Jenny was raised in Yorkshire where she resides today
Her early career was in the education sector implementing policy in schools to improve pupil progress. Jenny went on to qualify with the CIPD and established and led training and development services. Her passion lay in people and transformation, understanding that having the right culture and approach to leadership was key for successful delivery. She became qualified in the early 2000’s with a masters in change leadership and followed with up with project, programme and portfolio management accreditations. She spent the last 10 years working across local and central government, health and private sectors as a programme manager and consultant with a focus on smart working and enabling a modern workforce.

Senior Adviser, Acas
Naveed joined Acas in April 2007 and has a high level of expertise in employment law, promoting best practice within the workplace and resolving workplace conflict. He has conciliated in disputes involving trade unions and employers which have prevented industrial action from taking place. Naveed works with senior leaders in private and public sector bodies to advise them of best employment practice, help them to analyse why things may not be working well and what can be done to address this. Naveed is also an experienced mediator and has produced academic writing on workplace disputes and why mediation and conciliation are effective at resolving them.
Naveed is the designated Senior Adviser for South Kensington, Ealing, Barnet, Barking and Dagenham and Redbridge.
Defence Innovation Unit – Ideas
Stuart is a member of the Defence Innovation Directorate, where he is the Ministry of Defence lead for the Ideas Management Strategy. Having joined the MOD in 1990, he has enjoyed a varied career to date and since moving to a Head Office based role in 2005 has been involved with key improvement and engagement programmes and initiatives.
With knowledge and experience of Joint Service Publication editing, designing and delivering ICT projects, programme delivery and engagement activity, Stuart has a unique combination of knowledge and experience which he uses to help others deliver projects in support of Defence Innovation.
